As a service to school districts and their students, the Fairfield County ESC offers a catalog of high-quality, standards-aligned, and NCAA-accredited online courses for students in grades 6-12.

As an extension of the service, the ESC offers a homeschool program that provides access to the courses and the option to use a licensed teachers of record for a fee.

📚 How Courses Work

  • Courses are high-quality and align to state and national learning standards. They are also NCAA accredited.

  • Students begin coursework at the start of the semester/session and make consistent progress throughout.

  • All course materials, assignments, and assessments are included within the course itself. No extra books or licenses required.

  • Parents (or teachers) monitor student progress and intervene with support as needed.

🛠 Course Scheduling & Teacher of Record Options

Homeschool families have the flexibility to choose how they manage their students' coursework.

  • Using an InnevAto EDU Teacher of Record: Students must follow the structured session or semester schedule (see below), ensuring they stay on track with pacing and support throughout the course.

  • Parent as Teacher of Record: Families have greater flexibility in setting their own schedule. However, we recommend using the semester dates as a guideline to maintain steady progress.

Students enrolling with a parent as the Teacher of Record can start and finish their courses anytime between August 18, 2025, and July 15, 2026. This allows families to customize learning while ensuring courses are completed within the academic year.
