Instructional Framework

The Fairfield County ESC proudly presents the InnevAto EDU™, an NCAA® accredited, Quality-Matters aligned, and Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) compliant online learning curriculum that aligns with Ohio’s learning standards. These student courses, which have been developed by experienced and highly-trained current Ohio teachers, embed voice and choice for students to demonstrate mastery.

In addition to an emphasis on accessibility, DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity) and SEL (Social Emotional Learning), the courses are intentionally designed to provide personalized, competency-based learning opportunities for all students, whether gifted, credit deficient, or just in need of flexibility in their schedules.

All of our InnevAto EDU courses are designed based on research and best practices.  All courses are NCAA-accredited and are aligned with Quality Matters, ISTE, and Aurora Institute standards.  They also are ADA and Web compliant.

With schools becoming increasingly diverse, creating an emotionally and mentally safe environment that promotes inclusion of all voices is at the heart of InnevAto EDU. Having a focus on SEL and DEI provides the foundation for healthy, safe, and positive learning which strengthens students' success in school and life after. Research shows that SEL improves academic success 11 percentile points while also increasing kindness, empathy, attitudes toward school, and lowering depression and stress (Durlak et al., 2011).  InnevAto EDU courses are created by trained teachers whose main goal is to improve student learning and growth.
